What is age?

I believe age is simply a number, a digit whereby people add expectations to a quantity. But ironically, I think I always forget my age. I tend to be the youngest most days in any given situation, but how much longer will that be? Soon it may all change. I wonder if then I will consider all I thought I should be and judge fairly in what I am.
